Add Duplicate Item Stacking
complete
Yemel Jardi
Hello, Residents of Decentraland
This poll requests for duplicate items to be stacked into one listing on the marketplace. Similar to on OpenSea, this change would make it so when you click on an item, it takes you to a marketplace page specifically for that item which would then list all current sale prices by amount/user. With a system like this, it may even allow for users to post 'buy' offers as a potential future feature.
The reason for suggesting such an improvement is to keep the marketplace uncluttered, especially with the recent unveiling of L2 wearables. I believe we all know what it's like to sort through 10 pages of rainbow earrings and grey hats, and I only see this issue getting more out of hand as wearables continue to release, especially in high quantity collections.
Ease of technological implementation aside, this poll constitutes a community ' 'temperature check' to get the issue out into the world and start discussing quality of life improvements such as these. Thank you for considering this request.

Hey folks, we are currently working on a fix for this. It will improve drastically the discoverability of items in the secondary market. As many of you suggested, different versions of the same item will be stacked and users will be able to find the cheapest listings and also find it if it's available for minting, which will help the original creator :D

Nicolas - Product Lead @ Decentraland Foundation: This is amazing for secondary purchasing, but what about for "My Assets" too?

Not right now, the first iteration will involve changes in the catalogue and item detail for both primary and secondary markets.

happy to find this here, and I guess it can be done with indexation of the market contract through theGraph.
It would be cool that each stacked item shows lowest price.

I feel this pain. The "cheapest" sorting feature is pretty much useless because you have 16 pages of the same item. If we fix this, it may bring more revenue to the mp because it will be easier to scroll thru those cheaper wearables. I wanted a feature that allows us to keep scrolling without having to click the "load more" button at the bottom. Solving this problem first will hopefully make scrolling a non-issue. Thanks Yemel.
